I guess yes because I did have to revise a lot for my A level exams to make sure I get the grades to do my Biochemistry degree here!
But I think it is worth working a bit harder in your A levels to make sure you are going to the university you want to! It’s a really nice city – with nice relaxing parks, castle and lakes to go to.
And if you want a good night out with friends- the city centre is packed full of different bars and clubs to visit to balance out the studying bit 🙂
I would recommend it.. nice campus and very good student support, if you should need any (I didn’t but my friends did and they were great with supporting students!!!) etc. But I would suggest visiting the actual city of the uni you are thinking about applying to and see if you can picture yourself there for 3 years or so 🙂
