This is probably a question for Zara – crayfish are very similar to lobsters!

      Hello! 🙂

Yup Edd is right – crayfish are very similar to lobsters. The big difference is that crayfish live in freshwater instead of salt water.

Lobsters are well adapted to their environment. Adaptations include:

      – Big claws for fighting (they fight each other!) and gripping/crushing prey

      – Antenna that let the lobster feel its way around and detect food (using its sense of smell)

      – Gills for breathing

      – Living in burrows – lobsters can dig burrows with their mouths and claws… burrows provide lobsters with protection from predation

Those are the main ones 🙂
