• Question: Whats the ugliest fish you have ever seen?

      I wouldn’t dare call any animal ugly. All animals are beautiful in their own way. But one fish really made me laugh by its looks: http://fishindex.blogspot.com/2009/02/blobfish-psychrolutes-marcidus.html. The blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) is probably the most miserable looking animal ever. Although when it’s left alone in its deep-sea habitat around Australia and Tasmania swallowing edible matter here and there, because it can’t move very well due to it’s lack of muscles, it is probably not miserable at all 😉

      I got a dirty look from a cuttlefish when I did my PADI open water diver training. The instructor told me to dump all of the air out of my jacket. I did and I promptly fell to the sea floor and nearly squished the cuttlefish. This is what they normally look like and i think it had an extra nasty look on its face after I nearly fell on it!
