That’s a very good question indeed, and I have asked myself that question about a year ago when I started doing this project. Now I have found out that the amount of plastic on beaches may vary because of the shape of the beach. It seems that beaches that have a smaller opening to the open sea and that are more curved have more plastic on them. I am also about to look at what effect the wind, the tides and the wave action may have.
