Of course I hope it will, and I am talking about lives of humans and other animals. In ecology we look at how living beings live in their living and inanimate environment. We try to understand why animals or plants live in a particular environment. This helps us spot dangers that may occur to these animals or plants through changes in their environment. With this knowledge we can make suggestions how to make the environment better for everyone to live in. In this way we can help make everyone’s lives better and on a smaller scale we can also save lives.
With the work I do I hope to recognise and help prevent harmful effects plastic debris has in the environment. We now know that plastic debris that float in the ocean kill turtles, birds, seals, whales, dolphins and probably also other animals. With my work I am helping protect their lives.
